I’m a pretty happy person, so when I travel I tend to ask people if they are too. For the most part I get “Yes” without any hesitation. But occasionally, I get a “No,” or silence. It usually bothers me, so I did deeper for details and I find it fascinating.
Usually, the reason for non-happiness is work, relationship, money and life in general. Some people are happy about some aspects of their lives or others are working on making all aspects work well. What I’ve found too is the really poor people are happy. I was in India and I got the air that some of the poor people I saw were content with what they had, so they had no worries.
So are you happy? What is your measure of happiness? Please leave a comment below.
In the meantime, listen to the song that won’t leave my head by Pharrell Williams, appropriately called Happy. You may also find additional information at http://24hoursofhappy.com/.
